Legs, Core and Shoulders with the MostFit SYN Rings

Strengthen  your legs, core and shoulders with these 2 different moves using the MostFit SYN Rings

During the Thruster to Overhead Squat with the MostFit SYN Rings, the user should keep their lats depressed and their back as straight as possible. As the bar extends overhead during the thruster, the user should externally rotate at the shoulders. As the user lowers down through the overhead squat they should keep eyes forward in order to help maintain proper upright posture in the chest and trunk.

In this video, WBFF Pro Jeanette Ortega, owner of Extreme Results Fitness in Northridge, California, instructs Andrew Gavigan through one of her favorite exercises--a reverse lunge with a twist using the MostFit SYN Rings Olympic bar attachments. The SYN Rings allow the weights to move in all directions including fwd, back, side, and up and down which create a certain amount of instability. That means the user is now forced to create that stabilization by further engaging a number of stabilizers. The user also improves bilateral awareness and improves certain synaptic thoroughfares and action.

Benefits of Training with the MostFit SYN Rings

The MostFit SYN Rings require the user to engage more core and stability muscles due to the instability created by the weight plates that move, swing and bounce in multiple directions.

The MostFit SYN Rings are sold as a pair for $39.95 and each one can hold up to a 45-lb weight plate. If you want to add more weight to the bar, simply stack the bar with additional plates or add another pair of SYN Rings side by side to each other.

Benefits of Stability Training

1. Improved balance. Creating instability forces the user to engage their core and stability muscles, which cultivates coordination, stability and balance.

2. Stronger Core. A strong foundation starts from the center.

3. Focused Attention. When you are lifting something that is swinging and trying to take you off balance, you will definitely be forced to focus.

4. Increased neural pathways. Every time we learn something new, our brain structure physically changes. Here's an article on How to Improve Neural Plasticity with 9 Easy Tips.

5. It's fun!
