Spear the Dragon with the  Core Hammer is a lower body, shoulder, and oblique strengthening exercise. Hold the Core Hammer in the hammer grip and step out to the side with one leg. Bend the knee and lower into a side lunge as you reach the head of the Core Hammer straight out as if piercing something with a spear. Be sure that your athlete is maintaining stability and depression in both shoulder blades, especially their lead arm, the their front knee is in-line with the foot.
